Ahmad is a Lecturer in Banking and Finance and Programme Director of BSc Finance and Financial Technology within Southampton Business School at the University of Southampton.
Ahmad is interested in supervising PhD students in topics related to volatility modelling, Long memory, and network analysis with applications to cryptocurrencies or energy markets.

Biography
Prior to joining SBS, Ahmad worked with the Centre for Health Education and Research in the United Kingdom as a research fellow. He also worked within the financial industry for three consecutive years.
Ahmad holds a Ph.D. in Digital Finance, an M.Sc. in Finance and a B.Sc. in Financial and Banking Science. He holds also a Professional Diploma in NGO Management and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP).
