Bioinformatics Core
Working with University Hospital Southampton, we provide high quality 2D, 3D and 4D light, electron, X-ray and correlative microscopy and spatial biology for research and diagnostics.

Biomedical Research Facility
Our facility spans three sites at the University of Southampton, offering state-of-the-art experimental facilities, breeding colony maintenance and research support.

Clinical Imaging Facility
We enable University researchers to access NHS operated imaging modalities for clinical, translational, and experimental research.

Clinical Metabolomics (Mass Spectrometry)
We provide high-resolution state-of-the-art metabolic/redox phenotyping, lipidomics, and small molecule profiling approaches to support clinical activities and research.

Digital Pathology
We manage and analyse information generated from digitised specimen slides.

Flow Cytometry Core
We offer advanced flow cytometry analysis, cell sorting, support and training on cutting-edge instruments, focusing on high-quality data acquisition and sorting across a broad range of research applications.

Histochemistry Research Unit
We provide a range of histopathological services and equipment to support research, as well as offering expert guidance and training on a variety of histology techniques.

Southampton Health Technology Assessments Centre
A leading centre for health technology assessment and health services research, generating evidence that informs healthcare policy, supports decision-making and directly benefitting patients.

Tissue Bank
We are licenced by the Human Tissue Authority (HTA) to collect and store primary human tissue and bodily material for the purpose of research.
