Prof. Olga Maslovskaya is Professor of Survey Methodology and Social Statistics at the University of Southampton. She is a Survey Methodologist with expertise across all aspects of survey research, with a particular focus on data quality and survey data collection.   Olga is a Deputy Director of the ESRC-funded Survey Futures programme in the UK, a multi-institutional research initiative, which aims to ensure it will remain possible to collect high-quality data in the UK despite a rapidly changing survey data collection landscape.  She is also a Principal Investigator on the "Under-represnted population subgroups in social surveys: Respondent-Driven Sampling (RDS) methods" project and a Co-Investigator on ESRC-funded project “The Generations and Gender Survey (GGS) in the UK: Investigating demographic changes in the family and advancing online survey methodology“,  where she leads the workpackage responsible for the design of the online survey and the implementation of methodological experiments for the second wave of the survey in the UK. Olga holds a number of advisory and editorial roles, including Vice-Chair of the Methods Advisory Board of the European Social Survey, advisory board member of the World Values Survey, member of the Methods Group for the Generation and Gender Programme, member of the European Survey Reserach Association Board (Education Committe), and Associate Editor for the Journal of Survey Statistics and Methodology, among other positions.
