Research interests

I currently pursue two main research directions: The development and evaluation of verbally-based behavioural interventions for autism and challenging behaviour and development of interactive computer simulation software as an instructional tool for helping carers of children with autism and challenging behaviour.

I am currently Academic Integrity Officer in Psychology. I am a member of Academic Unit Programme Board, Undergraduate Programme Board, and Staff-Student Liaison Committee in Psychology. I also Chair both the University’s Regulations, Policy, and Procedures Academic Integrity Working Group and the Faculty of Social, Human and Mathematical Sciences’ Academic Integrity Officers’ Group.

I am module coordinator for PSCY3052 (The Undergraduate Ambassadors Scheme; UAS) and also tutor on PSYC1005 (Thinking Psychologically). I design and deliver all undergraduate Induction events in Psychology and provide a range of training in Academic Integrity to students and staff across the Faculty and within the University’s Access to Southampton (A2S) Programme.
