Southampton Clinical Trial Unit (SCTU) has a dedicated team of methodologists who are using their expertise to provide evidence to optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of clinical trials.
Trial conduct methodology research focuses on various aspects throughout a trial’s lifecycle, including trial design, conduct, analysis, and evaluation for the benefit of participants, funders, and the wider research community.

Our staff at SCTU also design, create, and run the Digital Tools for Efficient Clinical Trials MOOC (Massive Open Online Course). This helps other researchers use digital tools to recruit and retain participants on their studies.
