High energy laboratory We provide additional off-campus space to allow testing and operation of high voltage and power energy storage and production systems. Soton UAV (Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle) laboratory We design, manufacture and operate uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs) from a research and technology demonstration perspective. Environmental laboratory Our work focusses on the design and optimization of wastewater treatment technologies and bioenergy research. River, estuary and coastal resilient infrastructure testing flume (REAL) This facility focuses on identifying the environmental impacts of urbanisation on aquatic environments. Freshwater fish holding facilities Our Freshwater fish holding facilities include indoor and outdoor holding tanks. Hydraulics facilities Our hydraulics facilities support the experimental fluid dynamics research conducted at the University.
