Dr Asyl L. Hawa BSc (Hons), PhD, CandORS

Research Fellow

Asyl joined SHTAC as a Research Fellow in Health Economics and Decision Modelling in 2022.

After graduating with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Asyl pursued a doctorate in Optimisation at Cardiff University specialising in combinatorial optimisation, algorithm design and development, and graph theory.

Prior to joining SHTAC, Asyl worked in the Business School at the University of Southampton on an NIHR ARC Wessex project concerning the home healthcare routing and scheduling problem.
