NHS Pathways is a new computerised decision support system (CDSS) designed to support call prioritisation, assessment and triage in first contact care. This study is investigating the impact of introducing NHS Pathways in an Ambulance setting for the management of out-of-hours calls

What is the impact of NHS Pathways on the management (referral disposition) of patients contacting the service taking into account the range of possible call dispositions available to decision makers and the different practitioners using NHS Pathways with patients (call handlers, call centre practitioners and general practitioners)?
