About
David is a health economist and medical statistician with over twenty years of experience in the health technology assessment field. He is a Professor at the Southampton Health Technology Assessments Centre (SHTAC) and leads the evaluation of indirect treatment comparisons on the NICE Technology Assessment Report programme. He also leads SHTAC’s provision of early HTA support for medical devices and digital technologies and currently supports a number of partner organisations on their pathway towards reimbursement.

- Health economics of de-implementation of low-value technologies

Biography
A health economist and medical statistician with over twenty years of experience in health technology assessment, David has held a variety of senior consultancy and academic roles over his career.
David rejoined SHTAC in 2020, and is Professor of Health Technology Assessment. Previously, David was the Global Head of the Health Economics and Epidemiology Practices at ICON plc.
