Current research

At present, I am a core member of the Long-Term Conditions Research Group at the University of Southampton and the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Wessex 2 Living well with Long term Conditions Theme. My programme of research focuses on personalised assessment of needs and systems of support for people living with diverse physical and mental health long term conditions, engaging with individuals, family carers and communities. The development of this programme of work could result in a) improving the overall quality of life and wellbeing of people living with multiple physical and mental health conditions; b) enhancing the efficient use of health and social care resources; and c) influencing clinical and policy personalised care agendas for people living with multiple long-term conditions.
