Centre for Research in All-electric Future Technologies (CRAFT)

About us

Learn more about who we are and the range of our work.

With the motto “crafting the future”, our vision is to enable a sustainable all-electric future by leading innovation across the energy lifecycle: generation, transportation, distribution, and consumption.

CRAFT brings together University researchers from diverse fields, from physical sciences to artificial intelligence. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, we exploit synergies between areas of expertise to produce novel energy research with real-world impact.

We are part of the School of Electronics and Computer Science (ECS) and our remit covers a wide range of topics such as multi-energy systems, net-zero strategy, off-grid generation, and vehicle to grid systems.
