Dr. Tiejun Ma and Professor Johnnie Johnson recently took part in a cyber security round table research forum with representatives of GCHQ.

Interdisciplinary forum

The event was organised by the University's Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security. The discussions involved individuals from Law, Psychology and Criminology as well as members of the Centre for Risk Research. The aim was to share with GCHQ the research we are conducting around the common theme of  ‘Business and Social Science: Humans in Cyberspace.' It was a very productive meeting and the representatives from GCHQ were impressed by the research capability provided by the Centre for Risk Research. It is expected further collaboration with GCHQ will take place as a result.
