Dr Yukai Zou moved to the University of Southampton in 2020 as a Research Fellow in Advanced Neuroimaging.

At CNDNG (Clinical Neonatal and Developmental Neurosciences Group), his work addresses the neurodevelopmental trajectories and neural correlates in children with neonatal hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy (HIE). He graduated from Purdue University in 2020 with a PhD in biomedical engineering. Prior to Purdue, he received training in biotechnology from Hong Kong Baptist University, and medical imaging from University California San Francisco.
