Current PhD Students
I currently teach on the special study modules on global health and Complementary and alternative medicines for undergraduate medical students. I regularly supervise medical students undertaking the year 3 research module, as well as MSc students in public health and global health.
I qualified in medicine from the University of Oxford in 1998 and completed training as a General Practitioner in 2004. Since then I have combined clinical work as a GP with research. I work as a GP at Luther St Medical Centre (Oxford) and in the Oxfordshire Urgent Care Service. My main research interests are primary health care, clinical trials of traditional herbal medicine and maternal and child health.
