Current research
Miquel's research focuses on modelling magnetohydrodynamical turbulence in the context of neutron star mergers. He performs numerical relativity simulations of these events, aiming to incorporate a more realistic treatment of the underlying physics. He is also interested in the study of gravitational-wave emission from the postmerger phase of binary neutron star systems, as well as in the rapid identification of gravitational-wave sources using machine learning techniques.

Biography
Miquel obtained his Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Universitat de València in 2019. After completing a Master's degree in Advanced Physics during the 2019–2020 academic year, he earned a PhD in Physics from the Universitat de València in 2024. During his doctoral studies, he conducted research stays at the Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics (University of California, Los Angeles) and the Niels Bohr Institute (University of Copenhagen).
