About this course

Develop the vital skills to help companies enhance their global presence. Combine Business Management with Spanish, and experience a new culture with a year abroad. You'll discover new ways to think about business, and graduate with the skills to improve organisations and society.

Your A level results will determine which core or compulsory modules you'll need to take.

On this programme you’ll combine business modules with a deep understanding of Spanish language and culture. This will give you the cultural intelligence to communicate effectively, and to be successful in business management in different settings.

You'll develop your business skills through the study of managerial decision-making processes, contemporary global issues and business management techniques.

During your year abroad in year 3 you'll undertake a Period Abroad Portfolio (PAP) in either a work placement, a British Council placement or at one of Southampton’s partner universities.

This degree will prepare you for a career in a wide range of organisations, including:

  • start-ups
  • large corporations
  • social enterprises
  • the not-for-profit sector

This business management and Spanish degree is accredited by:

  • CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants)
  • AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)
