Research interests

My research currently focusses on resolving and quantifying fluid flow within the marine environment, both beneath the seabed and into the water column using active and passive acoustics. I work on a variety of research topics across the spectrum of marine geophysics, structural geology and surface processes, with particular emphasis on acoustic imaging.

Current research projects include:

Acoustic sensing using fibre optic cables

Environmental Monitoring of Marine Carbon Capture and Storage:
STEMM-CCS – Strategies for Environmental Monitoring of Marine Carbon Capture and Storage

CHIMNEY

Development of a 3D Chirp profiler
