Current research
Rich's current research focuses on designing smart mobility systems that promote sustainable and healthy travel by facilitating journeys using public transport, active travel, or a combination of both. In addition to environmental sustainability and physical health, his work explores how these systems can enhance transport gender equity and improve the experiences of disabled people within our transport networks.
He is also involved in research exploring the design of decision support systems in healthcare, working with researchers in health sciences.
