Recreational sports

The Jubilee Sports Hall has 4 badminton courts, 2 basketball courts and 2 volleyball courts. It can also host a variety of other sports, including table tennis and pickleball. The Team Southampton Hall includes an additional basketball court and 2 football goals. 

You need to bring your own equipment, however you can hire the following:

• table tennis bats, badminton and squash racquets for £1.50 per person
• pickleball bats (x2) and ball for £3.00
• basketball for £1.50

Damage to hire equipment where it cannot be reused carries a £10 charge. Squash balls, table tennis balls and shuttlecocks are available for purchase at reception.

Sport at Avenue Campus 

Avenue campus has 2 tennis courts, also suitable for basketball and netball.

Sport at Wide Lane

Wide Lane is our outdoor pitch facility based next to Southampton Airport. Here you’ll find 4 synthetic turf pitches, 8 tennis courts, 6 netball courts and multiple grass pitches.

Southampton Sport Monthly Plus and Annual members can book up to 8 days in advance. 

Please note that ALL participants on a court or pitch must have an appropriate membership or pay as you go prices apply

You may only book 1 x 55 minute slot per activity per day, regardless of location. Multiple bookings may result in online booking rights suspension. Email us to book a session or package.

You must wear non-marking shoes, designed for use on indoor courts. If you're not sure, try the non-marking shoes test.

You must wear suitable clothing while playing sport. If you wear jeans, you will need to change.
