Current research
Dr Miller currently works on the Phased-In feasibility trial. Her responsibilities include the development a digital intervention to support pharmacists with new services for patients with common infections, and a process evaluation of the trial.

Biography
Dr Sascha Miller is a behavioural psychologist focused on researching the development, evaluation and implementation of digital behaviour change interventions using the person-based approach.
Sascha joined the Germ Defence project in 2008, and worked on the development, pilot study and subsequent trial of a digital intervention to lower the spread of viruses within the home by increasing infection prevention behaviours. The intervention is endorsed by NICE as a resource to help fight anti-microbial resistance (AMR) and was funded by the UK Government to be optimised for use during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sascha completed a PhD in Pyschology and her thesis focused on evaluating engagement with Germ Defence and another AMR intervention. Through this she developed the Analysing and Measuring Usage and Engagement Data (AMUsED) framework to support systematic data collection and analyses of digital interventions.
Sascha also holds an MSc in Social and Organisational Psychology (University of Exeter) and BSc(Hons) in Psychology (Solent University).
