The symposium took place in Lloyd’s Register’s new Global and Technology Centre, located on the University of Southampton Bolderwood Campus. Presentations by over 20 representatives from various groups associated with SMMI demonstrated the breadth of research across the University. Similarly, representatives of various disciplines within Lloyd’s Register identified the diverse range of challenges and issues being actively pursued within the organisation. A number of fruitful avenues for future risk-related research collaboration were established.
