About this course

This degree includes a year's paid work placement to give you practical experience. We'll challenge you to think differently about business, so that you can drive change within organisations and society. Drawing from economics, history and the social sciences, this programme offers an interdisciplinary perspective you won’t find on similar courses elsewhere.

This degree will suit you if you want to gain practical skills, and learn to drive change and initiatives to make business and society work better.

In this course, you can:

  • spend your third year on an approved industry placement in a business organisation

  • gain a holistic understanding of current business and management challenges

  • learn directly from people who are currently in inspiring job roles - we regularly invite guest speakers from industry

  • choose optional modules to develop your business management skills in areas such as strategic marketing, project management, finance and accounting, or operational management

  • study interdisciplinary modules to learn practical skills such as programming and web design

Our research-focused academics are leaders in their field, and make sure the course stays current. You'll also benefit from the Business School’s close links with industry. You'll graduate with a degree accredited by:
