Having read economics science and Mandarin in Germany and China, she spent her first professional years in a multinational retail company. After various international positions within the group she eventually was posted to the UK and became one of the youngest MDs within the retail company. Then she took up a new role as a General Manager and Board Member of a multi-channel retail fashion company on the Isle of Wight. After a successful MBO of the company she took up the role of the CEO for a short period. These days she mainly works as a non-executive chairman of a British footwear manufacturer and multi-channel retailer as well as a management consultant. She joined BRAIN UK in 2015 as a lay member. She lives with her husband and son on the Isle of Wight. In her spare time she likes to keep fit and play the violin in the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra.
