Stratos is an Associate Professor in Strategy and Innovation and Director of Undergraduate Programmes in Business (with Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Philosophy).

Stratos joined the University of Southampton in September 2013 (as a Lecturer), just before submitting his Doctoral dissertation at the University of Cambridge. In addition to a PhD, he holds an MPhil in Management Research (from the University of Cambridge), an MA in Organisation Studies (from the University of Warwick) and a BSc in Economics (from Aristotle University).

Stratos has been published in leading academic journals such as the Academy of Management Review. In 2015 he won a Dean's Award for leadership in research as well as a Vice Chancellor's Teaching Award. Stratos systematically participates in the annual conferences of the American Academy of Management and regularly peer-reviews for journals such as the Academy of Management Review and the Journal of Business Venturing. He has been invited to sit in the Editorial Review Board of the Academy of Management Review for the 2017-2020 period (impact factor 7.288 - ranked #1 in "Business" and #2 in "Management").
