Dr Amgad Sbayeh, M.B.Ch.B., MSc, PGdipTLHE, MD

Teaching fellow in Anatomy within Medicine at the University of Southampton.

I had my medical degree in 2000 from Libya; I worked in the department of Surgery for 4 years as SHO.  I was awarded an MSc degree by research from Trinity College Dublin in 2008.  My master degree was on clonal analysis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa collected from Irish cystic fibrosis centres.

In 2008, I worked as a clinical tutor, teaching infectious diseases and microbiology to medical students in St. James Hospital, Dublin for three years. 

In 2011, I joined the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience as a senior medical demonstrator for two years.  Between 2011 and 2016, I was assistant lecturer in school of medicine Cork, Ireland; UCC; teaching clinical skills to medical students and OSCE examiner as well. 

I had my Postgraduate diploma in Teaching and Learning of Higher Education in 2013.

In 2016, I was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) degree in Medical education in anatomical teaching area from University College Cork, Ireland.

From 2014 to 2016, I taught clinical anatomy to graduate entry medical students in University of Limerick, Ireland.

In September 2016, I joined University of Southampton, UK as teaching fellow in the Department of Clinical Learning of Anatomical Science.  I am very keen in teaching clinical anatomy and clinical skills with long time experience.
