Prior to this role she completed her Bachelor of Medicine degree at the University of Southampton before training as a teacher and working in the secondary and sixth form college sectors where she taught science and prepared students to apply for medicine and related health science programmes. She is the subject lead for Personal and Professional Development in the undergraduate medicine programmes, as well as module lead for Foundations of Medicine, an SSU3 option, and deputy module lead for the final year PPD module.
