About
Huan Li is a postgraduate researcher based in Southampton Education School at the University of Southampton. Her research investigates how middle-class and working-class parents in urban China support their children’s academic achievement. The study explores class-based differences in parental aspirations, involvement strategies, and resource utilisation in the context of China's exam-oriented education system. Her work aims to uncover the structural factors shaping parental practices and contributes to a deeper understanding of how social class influences family-school dynamics in a rapidly urbanising society.
