About
I am an Associate Professor in Health Psychology at the University of Southampton and joined the Centre for Clinical and Community Applications of Health Psychology in April 2026.
I am no stranger to the university, having completed my MSc in Health Psychology here in 2009 and my PhD in 2014. I spent 12 years at the University of Aberdeen within the Aberdeen Health Psychology Group, part of the Institute of Applied Health Sciences.
My research is best known for using intensive longitudinal methods and analyses to study psychological and health-related phenomena in everyday life. Having spent most of my postdoctoral career within a medical school environment, my work is often interdisciplinary and applied in nature. My primary interests include stress, fatigue, medical decision-making, symptom dynamics, and health behaviour change.
Whilst my publications list is being generated, for a full list see my Google Scholar profile.
