Project overview
This activity aims to develop and produce an online infographic, supplemented by printed media, to effectively summarise our complex review findings of how social connectedness is defined and measured, to semi-lay audiences involving public health practitioners, health and social care professionals, and local authority in the first instance. This impact work will support the first step in this at a regional level, by supporting our collaboration with the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) Wessex to develop and disseminate the online infographic through their website.
Over the mid- and long-term, our infographic and media dissemination strategy has potential to influence change and raise awareness of the importance of social connectedness regionally, to ultimately benefit regional health and social care provision through later engagement with the NHS Hampshire & Isle of Wight Integrated Care Board and national NIHR ARCs.
