Location and facilities

Modern and purpose-built, Winchester Campus is in green surroundings close to the centre of the historic and diverse city of Winchester. Once the ancient capital of England, Winchester has an iconic cathedral. Modern-day Winchester blends old and new in a lively, friendly city. You can enjoy theatre, cinema, live music venues, and a good selection of restaurants and pubs. Southampton, with its extensive sports facilities and great shopping, is only 12 miles away. Trains to London take less than an hour, and Winchester station is a 10-minute walk from campus.

Our up-to-date facilities include our Creative Services Centre with large scale printers, a flat-bed printer, a laser cutter, a 3D printer, a T-shirt printer, and a Mimaki wallpaper printer. We offer high quality workshops with specialist technical staff, and a photo-media area for photography and video, including a large editing workshop. Our own gallery is on campus, along with our specialist library.

Our students enjoy the convenience of their own dedicated Students' Union on site, along with an art and design supplies shop. There is also a campus café offering meals, snacks and drinks.
