Module overview

Business Analytics is an emerging phenomenon that is rooted in Management Science and reflects the increasing significance of data in terms of its growing volumes, variety and velocity. Business Analytics use data, statistical analysis, management science techniques, and fact-based management to drive decisions and actions. This module teaches the fundamental analytics and computing skills needed for students who want to pursue career in Business Analytics and Management Science. The topics covered in this module include descriptive analytics, data analytics and visualisation, and introduction to software designed specifically for analytics.
