Module overview
This is a core module for attendance across the academic year and students must complete the module to complete the NMC part. The module includes simulated practice opportunities across the academic year and NMC part, to allow students to consolidate their learning from the year's theory and practice modules. This module will also involve students working with their tutor and their tutor group, to work towards becoming a reflective practitioner. In addition, during this module students will be required to attend skills sessions for this part of the programme, as well as successfully pass a drug calculations test. This module does not contribute to classification but will result in a record of ‘achieved’ or ‘not achieved’. Students must pass this module to progress into the next part of this programme. All skills achieved during this module need to be maintained throughout the rest of the programme. In addition, to pass this module, students need to have completed enough clinical hours (i.e. within 150 hours of timetabled placement hours, for students on this part of the programme) and have achieved completion of part one in the EPAD OAR. to be able to move into the next part of the programme.
