- Evaluate the academic impact of research
- Critically evaluate research
- Draft research summaries and articles for dissemination to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
- Identify the academic beneficiaries of their research, i.e. consider how their research questions, methods, and findings will extend the knowledge/methods base
- Identify the ‘pathways to impact’ i.e. consider how to practically embed research methods, results and outcomes for the benefit of academic and non-academic stake-holders.
- Identify the economic / societal beneficiaries of the research, e.g. demonstrate an understanding of the relevance of the project for educational psychology in practice
