Professor Anne Baileff 

Deputy Head of School (Education)

In her role as Deputy Head of School (Education) Anne has executive responsibility for managing and leading the development of the Health Sciences education portfolio and student experience.

Anne is a registered nurse, midwife and independent prescriber. She has extensive experience of advanced clinical practice and medicines management, and practised as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care, and Consultant Nurse in Unscheduled Care, for many years.

While in these roles Anne made a major contribution to the development of innovative nurse-led community and primary care services and the education and development of nurses working in these areas. As Head of Clinical Standards she was responsible for leading the clinical governance and standards agenda in an NHS Community Trust.

Anne continues to contribute to the design and delivery of medicines management related education and the non-medical prescribing programme. She is also a Nursing & Midwifery Council reviewer for NMC approved programmes.
