Research project: Comprehensive review of evidence base for national cancer survivorship initiative - Dormant - Dormant

Currently Active:
No

We aim to review the research evidence and undertake a consultation in order to describe (a) what is known and not known about the problems faced by cancer survivors (b) the effectiveness of interventions to address these and (c) future research priorities.

Specifically we aim

1. To consult researchers working on survivorship in the UK to identify unpublished and ongoing research and obtain their views on the most important questions meriting research

2. To review published literature on the health and well-being of cancer survivors and interventions to improve these, building on the rapid review for the Think Tank and systematic and other reviews

3. To consult charities and statutory organisations with an interest in survivorship research in order to identify relevant unpublished reports

4. To synthesise the results from the above into a comprehensive report

Overall Question

What are the future priorities for research in relation to cancer survivorship, taking into account existing evidence, current and planned research and identified priority areas?
