Senior Research Fellow in Epidemiology/Medical Statistics

I am the senior statistician for the internationally renowned Hertfordshire Cohort Study (HCS) with a special interest in the lifecourse epidemiology of musculoskeletal ageing. I am a co-investigator on the Health and Employment after Fifty (HEAF) study.
I am a postdoctoral fellow researching lifecourse influences on healthy ageing. My work principally involves: preparation of research papers and presentations, design and statistical analysis of epidemiological studies, supervision of PhD and MSc students, line management of junior statisticians, mentoring of junior research assistants, organisation of team research meetings and fostering of UK/international collaborations. I am the senior statistician for the internationally renowned Hertfordshire Cohort Study (HCS) and co-investigator on the Health and Employment after Fifty (HEAF) study. I am the first author of thirteen published papers in peer-reviewed journals and a principal contributor to a further 150-plus published journal articles. I have presented work at national conferences in oral and poster presentations.
