Dr Christophe Codemard is a Group Leader at Advanced Laser Laboratory, University of Southampton.
Christophe received the Graduate degree in optoelectronics from École Nationale Supérieure des Sciences Appliquées et de Technologie (ENSSAT), Lannion, France, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree from the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC), University of Southampton, U.K., in 2007.
His main research interests include high-power rare-earth doped fiber lasers and amplifiers, novel optical fibre technology for high power fibre laser industry, laser beam shape control, pulsed fiber lasers, nonlinear effects, and numerical simulations. He has published more than 150 papers in scientific journals and conference proceedings and is a Senior Member of the Optical Society of America.
