About
Abeer is a PhD student in Computer science at the University of Southampton and a member of the Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) research group, supervised by Dr.Reza Rezazadeh and Dr. Gary Wills. Her research, so far, has focused on Security in IoT-enabled Smart Grid, and verification and validation using formal methods.
Abeer completed a master’s degree (MSc) in Big Data and Information Systems and a bachelor's degree (BEng) in Computer Science, both from at Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, King AbdulAziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
