Dr Jennifer McHugh is a design historian, heritage researcher and lecturer in design at Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton. Her work foregrounds (graphic) design as narrative space for marginalised voices, creative research methodologies and commons, drawing on experience within archives of graphic art and design, museums, migration and community cohesion. Jennifer’s research explores artist-designer networks and collective practice, cultural heritage and questions of digital repatriation, social design and regenerative archives practice.
