Annabelle is a Senior Research Assistant on the UKRI funded FAIR (Food Aid Inequalities Rectified) Project, which aims to improve the quality of food aid provisions across Southampton, the New Forest, and the Isle of Wight, by bringing together community organisations, local government, and fod aid providers.
Annabelle is a mixed-methods researcher with a background in biological sciences. She holds a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Her PhD research investigated diet-based solutions for the improvement of food and micronutrient security in the UK, using a combination of analytical chemistry techniques and data science approaches to explore the impact of locally grown crops and food system leverage points as intervention devices.
