About

Dr Nathan Bossoh is a Research Fellow in History at the University of Southampton. He primarily examines the intersections of science and medicine with religion, empire, and material knowledge across West Africa and its diasporas in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Between September 2022 and September 2023 he was the African Collections Research Curator at the (London) Science Museum. Nathan is Co-Curator of The Kola Nut Cannot Be Contained a display hosted in the Wellcome Collection gallery between July 2024 and February 2025. For more info see  www.nathanbossoh.com
