About the Social sciences experimental laboratory
Take part in experiments and learn how to design your own in the social sciences experimental lab.
This is where we carry out experiments that relate to decision-making. This is an important factor in behavioural and experimental economics.
It's also a place for teaching activities, giving you the chance to 'experience' economics. You might use this facility if you take the Economics with Experiments module, for instance.
Topics that have been investigated here include voting in the presence of biased information and the capacity of individuals to distinguish between an expert and someone with no specialist knowledge.
