If you become ill with coronavirus

You must follow government guidelines if you become ill with COVID-19, and you must tell us you’re not well.

Students must contact student services in the first instance. If you miss any teaching, you can apply for special considerations – students should contact their personal academic, or pastoral care tutor.

If you’re staying in University halls of residence, we’ll ask you to:

If you’re staying in private accommodation, you’ll already have given us your address as part of enrolment. We can use this to trace you in case we need to control an outbreak or transfer you to University accommodation if necessary.

If you’re at a higher risk of getting coronavirus

Please tell us if you’re in a higher risk group so we can support you. Students should contact their personal academic tutors. Staff should contact their line managers.
