Yuting Wei joined the Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences at the University of Southampton in February 2021.

2016-2021: PhD in Medical Science (Medicine). University of Aberdeen, UK

2015-2016: MSc in Clinical Pharmacology. University of Aberdeen, UK

2011-2015: BSc in Pharmacy. Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China

Research interests

Completed a PhD at the University of Aberdeen, where I focused on the potential of the omega-3 fatty acids and their metabolites for treating spinal cord injury induced neuropathic pain. In addition, I have a strong interest in the field of spinal cord injury regeneration and therefore, I joined Dr. Andrews’s group studying the potential combinational strategy on enhancing the spinal cord injury regeneration.
