Research interests

My research is mainly focused on understanding the mechanisms of dementias such as Alzheimer disease. I am interested in the molecular and genetic causes underlying these diseases, including rare genetic mutations that have been identified by our lab in Indiana. My research aims to identify how these mutations lead to neurodegeneration.

PhD supervision

Dr Katrin Deinhardt, Dr Vincent O’ Connor and Dr Ruben Vidal

PhD research title

Investigating a Novel genetic variant in Early Onset Alzheimer disease
