Research interests
Previous reseach as part of MSc project involved understanding the function of nanoparticles(gold) in microenvironment of drug delivery and signal amplification for cancer treatment.
Current research is focusing on the function of cell signalling pathways in the Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), including the role of STK11/LKB1 as a key regulator of ZEB1-dependent EMT of alveolar epithelial type II (ATII) cells contributing to fibrosis via aberrant epithelial-fibroblast crosstalk.
