Research interests

Previous reseach as part of MSc project involved understanding the function of nanoparticles(gold) in microenvironment of drug delivery and signal amplification for cancer treatment.

Current research is focusing on the function of cell signalling pathways in the Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF), including the role of STK11/LKB1 as a key regulator of ZEB1-dependent EMT of alveolar epithelial type II (ATII) cells contributing to fibrosis via aberrant epithelial-fibroblast crosstalk.

Research project: Defining the role of zeb1-dependent epithelial-mesenchymal crosstalk in lung fibrosis
