Teaching and learning methods
This module combines lectures and seminars, along with directed reading and additional research. Lectures are theory-driven and research-led, supported by theoretical evidence, empirical research, policy documents, ICT materials, and short tasks. They are tutor-led, followed by seminars for student interaction through discussions, debates, and case studies.
Students' experiences are integrated into the curriculum, enhancing interaction and reflection during seminars. Independent study is emphasised, with students responsible for preparation and further reading. Directed reading is required, and additional reading is encouraged.
