Having successfully completed this module you will be able to:
- Critically assess contemporary and emerging challenges for the leadership and governance of educational organisations, including fragmentation, disagreement, misinformation, and the demands of democratic and accountable decision-making.
- Analyse how organisational structures, cultures, and leadership practices shape the circulation of ideas, the quality of dialogue, and patterns of decision-making within educational organisations.
- Critically appraise key organisational and leadership theories in relation to how educational institutions function as epistemic and decision-making environments.
- Evaluate the role of educational leaders as epistemic stewards in supporting evidence-informed judgement, professional learning, and organisational change under conditions of complexity and uncertainty.
