• Use appropriate literature to support the design concept and identify potential risks and risk management strategies.
• Integrate the use of digital technology, the arts or the environment in occupational therapy practice considering safety, privacy and effectiveness.

Knowledge and Understanding

Having successfully completed this module, you will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of:

• Modify your application of core occupational therapy skills to meet complex needs or to use within a complex setting.
• Integrate relevant theory and literature in the development of innovative and creative occupational therapy.
• Analyse how statutory and third sector organisations work together and the unique contribution of occupational therapy within these services.
• Demonstrate creative problem solving, ergonomic and occupational analyses to identify a design issue within an organisation, which impacts service user occupational engagement, health and/or wellbeing.
