To provide experience of the basic practical techniques used in modern instrumental electrochemistry.

Having successfully completed this module you will be able to:

  • A basic understanding of experimental techniques in electrochemical research so that the student is able to design experiments that use the basic techniques.


Students will complete 6 experiments: Origin practise Cyclic voltammetry Factors affecting instrumental response RDE and RRDE Microelectrodes AC Impedance
